Qualifications

• Technical certificate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tooling preventive maintenance to ensure molds are production ready.
• Conduct mold repairs, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
• Execute minor mold repairs both in and out of injection molding presses.
• Troubleshoot and repair hot runner systems, including heaters and valve gates.
• Repair and maintain mold hydraulic systems.
• Operate dry ice blasting equipment for mold cleaning.
• Utilize mold flush systems for internal mold maintenance.
• Provide input during design and development of new molds.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Perform TIG welding as required for mold repair and fabrication.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

This role involves diagnosing issues, performing precision repairs, and conducting routine maintenance to extend mold life and minimize downtime.
