Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Mold Repair Specialist C4 to maintain injection molds, perform preventative maintenance, and repair mold components in a production environment. You will troubleshoot issues, disassemble/reassemble molds, and support cross-functional teams in safety, quality, and process improvement.

The role requires a journeyman card or equivalent experience, ability to operate a vertical mill, lathe, and surface grinder, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and journeyman status or equivalent experience.
• Ability to operate a vertical mill, lathe and surface grinder.
• Ability to assemble/disassemble injection molds and repair hot runner systems.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain injection molds in production-ready and safe condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair injection molds as needed.
• Follow tooling maintenance procedures and participate in PM programs.
• Contribute to 5S and continuous improvement in the tool room.
• Communicate issues in safety, quality, and maintenance during daily meetings.
