Job summary

Mol-Son, located in Mattawan, Michigan, is hiring a Mold Repair Technician for the first shift to repair and maintain production injection molds. You will disassemble, clean, and reassemble molds, and replace worn core inserts, ejector pins, and other mold components.

Responsibilities include evaluating Tool Maintenance Requests, performing repairs, ensuring spare mold components fit properly, and informing management of delivery delays.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading
• General mold design, build & function
• Mechanical aptitude
• Injection molding knowledge
• Tool room equipment and machining processes
• Use of hand-held measurement tools

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Tool Maintenance Request (TMR)
• Perform required repair and/or maintenance
• Ensure spare mold components are fit properly
• Inform management of delay to expected delivery dates
