The Toro Company is seeking a warehouse/inventory associate in El Paso, TX, working 7 pm–7 am, Wed/Thu–Sat. The role focuses on inventory control, requisitions, receiving, and shipment coordination in SAP.

Responsibilities include processing production orders, scheduling pickups, expediting parts, resolving quality deviations, and identifying improvements. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 0–2 years’ experience, and forklift familiarity; overtime may be required.

  • Identify pending supply interruptions and communicate appropriately.
  • Execute inventory management processes meeting departmental/corporate requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support within the area assigned.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments/customers for timely information sharing.
  • Identify and help implement opportunities for continuous improvement.

Job description

Wage: $23 - $26/ hr Hours: 7 pm - 7 am, Wed/Thurs-Sat This position ensures compliance with established internal control procedures. He/she will use knowledge and understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the inventory management field, including warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and material storage methodologies along with understanding of material movement transactional data within SAP.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Creates and process requisitions as needed to complete production orders.
  • Facilitate receiving process, perform inspections to verify quality meets specification and quantity is accurate and record in SAP.
  • Schedule supplier pickup and delivery; expedite parts to meet the business needs; track and resolve past due purchase orders.
  • Resolve quality deviations, working with customers for the best overall solution.
  • Identify pending supply interruption pro-actively and communicate appropriately.
  • Able to execute inventory management processes that achieve departmental/corporate requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to individuals within the area of the business assigned to support.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments/customers to ensure information is shared in a timely manner.
  • Identify and help implement opportunities that encourage continuous improvement.
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Prior forklift experience and/or certification preferred
  • Able to regularly handle items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Demonstrate appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills.
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communications skills including a professional, self-confident image.
  • Proficient in personal computer application (Word, Excel, SAP, etc.).
  • Able to work overtime as needed.
  • Have a good work record of safety, self-motivation, judgment and productivity.
  • Work well with others in both a team setting and one on one.
Other Job-Related Components:
  • Manufacturing plant conditions (indoors, with variable temperature and humidity, noise and dirt).
  • Occasional outside work.
  • Physical hazards such as powered vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic, sharp objects, moving machinery, and material handling.
  • Working with hazardous materials, including solvents, oils, grease, and pressurized gases.
  • Dynamic work environment with constant changing workloads and priorities
  • Workdays up to 11 hours, along with Saturday work when necessary.
