Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support mold and machine operations in our Indiana facility. You will troubleshoot process issues, ensure safety, run production orders to spec, and perform startups and shutdowns.

The role requires basic mechanical and math skills, strong organization, and the ability to work independently on the shop floor, with opportunities to participate in TPM, 5S, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical, math and computer skills needed.
• Ability to organize workloads and work independently.
• Technical training or equivalent in injection molding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting mold process problems and ensuring cycles run to specification.
• Maintain a safe working environment and proper equipment condition.
• Record corrective actions using available software programs.
• Perform machine startups and shutdowns and ensure line clearances are followed.
• Participate in TPM, 5S, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement activities.
