Job summary

ALPLA Lima Plant is seeking an experienced supervisor to manage the molding department, ensuring safe, efficient operation of all molding machines and optimal product quality. You will monitor key parameters, coordinate material readiness, and implement corrective actions across shifts.

Responsibilities include minor mold repairs, supervising housekeeping, and partnering with the Production Manager to train operators. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in blow molding or injection molding; experience with ALPLA equipment preferred.
• Experience training technical personnel; Train the Trainer certification is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance, quality, efficiency and reliability of all molding machines in the Molding Department.
• Identify and monitor critical parameters to ensure safe, efficient, reliable operation.
• Ensure product quality and optimize processing; manage materials availability and defect-free processing.
• Identify, monitor, and report discrepancies; implement corrective actions.
• Perform minor repairs to molds and molding equipment; oversee cleanliness and order of machines and tools.
• Assist Production Manager in training and development of Machine Operators.
