Job summary

NyproMold, a Jabil company, is seeking a motivated student to learn about precision mold making, plastic injection molding, and manufacturing. The Co-Op will work with experienced Process Technicians and Engineers in the Mold Qualification Center, gaining hands-on experience with mold setup, testing, inspection, and qualification activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers/Technicians with mold preparation, setup, and qualification activities.
• Learn the basic operation and functions of plastic injection molding equipment under supervision.
• Assist with collecting molded samples and organizing parts for inspection.
• Support basic mold inspections, cleaning, and preparation for testing.
• Help document qualification activities and maintain accurate records.
• Learn to identify mold components, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

Position Overview

NyproMold is seeking a motivated high school or trade school student interested in learning about precision mold making, plastic injection molding, and manufacturing. The Co-Op student will work alongside experienced Process Technicians and Engineers in our Mold Qualification Center, gaining hands-on experience with mold setup, testing, inspection, and qualification activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers/Technicians with mold preparation, setup, and qualification activities
• Learn the basic operation and functions of plastic injection molding equipment under supervision
• Assist with collecting molded samples and organizing parts for inspection
• Support basic mold inspections, cleaning, and preparation for testing
• Help document qualification activities and maintain accurate records
• Learn to identify mold components, tooling, and manufacturing equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently attending high school or trade school

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods
