Job summary

NyproMold, a Jabil company, seeks a motivated high school or trade school student to gain hands-on experience in precision mold making, plastic injection molding, and manufacturing. You will work with seasoned technicians in our Mold Qualification Center, assisting with mold setup, testing, inspection, and qualification activities.

You will learn to operate basic molding equipment, document qualification steps, and support quality processes while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers/Technicians with mold preparation, setup, and qualification activities.
• Learn the basic operation and functions of plastic injection molding equipment under supervision.
• Assist with collecting molded samples and organizing parts for inspection.
• Support basic mold inspections, cleaning, and preparation for testing.
• Help document qualification activities and maintain accurate records.
• Learn to identify mold components, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview

NyproMold is seeking a motivated high school or trade school student interested in learning about precision mold making, plastic injection molding, and manufacturing. The Co-Op student will work alongside experienced Process Technicians and Engineers in our Mold Qualification Center, gaining hands-on experience with mold setup, testing, inspection, and qualification activities.

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
