Job summary

Basalite Building Products, LLC is seeking a Maintenance/Mold Technician to support the maintenance department in equipment and mold setup and repair. You will work under the Plant Superintendent and uphold core values of integrity, safety, respect, customer focus, quality, innovation and financial success.

The role requires forklift experience, basic PC skills, and the ability to work with grinders and other tools.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Six months of forklift experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate a PC and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds for production.
• Repair and clean mold components.
• Troubleshoot using mold schematics and perform repairs.
• Use grinder/wire wheels/chipping guns/pressure washer and related tools.
• Document mold wear and damage on inspection sheets.
