Qualifications

• Completion of a technical diploma from an accredited vocational/technical institute or equivalent.
• 4-7 years of machinist and mold setter experience.
• Experience in Injection Molding process.
• Extensive experience with hand tools, milling and lathe machines.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on molding equipment.
• Respond to production needs by mold changes, set-ups, and start-ups.
• Coordinate tooling and equipment availability and maintenance.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Maintain safe, clean mold shop and follow lock-out/tag-out policies.
• Document mold changes for traceability.
• Work with other departments to meet daily tasks.
• Assist mold maintenance training program.
