Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Department in Mission, TX. The role focuses on preventive maintenance of molds and tooling to minimize downtime and ensure quality production.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of mold maintenance experience, and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of mold maintenance or related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on molds and tooling to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mold and tooling issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
• Set up, change over, and modify molds according to production requirements to meet quality standards.
• Disassemble and assemble mold components, including hot runner systems, ensuring safety and precision.
• Operate tool room equipment such as milling machines, CNC mills, EDM machines, grinders, welders, and polishing equipment.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in injection molding, is seeking a dedicated Mold Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Mold Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mold Maintenance Technician

Location: Mission, TX

Pay Range: $17 -$20hr

Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on molds and tooling equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mold and tooling issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
