Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician in Winston-Salem, NC. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining multi-cavity production molds to keep manufacturing running safely and efficiently.

A strong foundation in reading blueprints and CAD/SolidWorks is preferred; 5 years of hands-on experience is expected. The position offers a 2nd shift in Winston-Salem with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, plus benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
Two-year technical degree preferred.
Four-year state-certified mold-making apprenticeship preferred.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining multi-cavity, close-tolerance molds.
Experience troubleshooting mold and tooling issues in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and SolidWorks designs.

Responsibilities

Clean, maintain, repair, and change over production molds.
Troubleshoot mold and tooling issues and determine root causes of quality concerns.
Perform corrective repairs to return molds to production.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate repair, maintenance, and production records.
Assist with mold setup, machine operation, and production support activities.
