Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking a Mold Machine Operator to support its injection molding operations. You will operate molding equipment, review blueprints, set up molds, and monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal entrants will have basic hand tool skills, familiarity with machine controls, and strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a production setting.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to use hand tools and read simple gauges.
• Basic knowledge of machine controls and programs.
• Good math skills for quantities, weights and measurements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
• Attention to detail and ability follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to follow Health, Safety & Environment procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate an injection molding machine to produce polymer components.
• Review job orders and simple blueprints to understand molding needs.
• Set up molds, adjust parameters, and monitor production for optimal conditions.
• Inspect finished products and escalate quality issues as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and tool/ equipment readiness; report issues promptly.
• Meet departmental targets while adhering to safety standards.
