Job summary

Pier Foundry & Pattern Shop, Inc. in Minnesota, Saint Paul, is seeking a Mold Machine Operator for our heavy industrial facility. The role involves operating mold machines, staging cores and patterns, and performing changeovers during 10-hour shifts (M-Th, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous core making or related machine operation experience preferred.
• Prior foundry or heavy industrial work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mold machines to meet production demands in the melt department.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Read and interpret job cards to understand requirements.
• Stage cores and patterns for upcoming runs.
• Perform changeovers and ensure smooth next production run.
• Set up mold machines and inspect patterns for quality.
