Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is looking for dedicated professionals to join their team in Tennessee. The position involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment, stocking materials, and performing quality control checks.

The ideal candidate will support a clean and organized work environment while contributing to the team's success. Shift hours are from 6:45 PM to 7 AM, Sunday to Wednesday, in a family-friendly setting with numerous employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follows the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stocks lines/machines with needed materials.
• Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients.
• Loads/unloads machines.
• Performs periodic checks on output.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Maintains accurate documentation/records relative to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Follows standard operating procedures and safe operating practices.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Supports a life-long learning environment.
• Must be willing to cross department lines and help the team where needed.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Job Functions

• Load/ unload machines.
• Performs periodic checks on output.
• Creates samples and performs quality control checks.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues.
• Maintains accurate documentation/ records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area.
• Follows standard operating procedures, safe operating practices, 5S, standard work and other lean manufacturing principles.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Supports a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other team members.
• Must be willing to cross department lines and help the team where needed.
• Performs other related duties as required.
