Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging in Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform general maintenance and preventive/predictive maintenance on blowmold and injection, auxiliary and plant support equipment. The role requires applying mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic theory to troubleshoot and repair to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, PLC troubleshooting, repairing motors, relays and control circuits, and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vo-tech graduate preferred.
• Experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic schematics and troubleshoot PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on blowmold, injection and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits to minimize downtime.
• Read schematics, test components, and replace motors, relays and starters as needed.
• Uphold safety rules and use PPE; support 12-hour shifts including weekends.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to ensure quality and uptime.
