Responsibilities

• Apply blue pigment and align mold halves to locate high spots.
• Fit and install nameplates in molds with hand tools.
• Verify insert heights with a dial indicator.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Work under supervision and stay productive in a manufacturing environment.
• Keep job site clean and organized through all phases of the service process.

• Ability to operate a forklift, positioning molds securely in holding fixtures.
• Removes burrs and smooths contoured surfaces with powered handheld grinder.
• Verifies contour of impression with templates.
• Applies blue pigment to mold surfaces, and presses mold halves together manually to locate high spots.
• Fits and installs nameplate in mold, using hand tools.
• Verifies height of each insert with dial indicator.
• May make own hand tools.
• Responsible to maintain company equipment and tools.
• Must be able to work well under a supervisor.
• Ensure job site cleanliness and organization through all phases of the service process.
• Self-starter, Independent worker.

Prior finishing experience required

• Must be able to do shift work.
• Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment and wear safety goggles.
• Must be willing to work in areas with high levels of noise such as plants or engineering departments.
