Job summary

Kinetico Incorporated is seeking an Entry Level Mold Cleaner to support mold cleaning, inspection, and basic maintenance at the end of production runs. You will disassemble, clean, inspect, and perform simple repairs on molds, while maintaining a clean and safe work area in a manufacturing setting.

We value candidates with basic technical/mechanical ability, the ability to read blueprints, and the capability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment encouraged.
• Ability to program and run CNC equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with calibration tools and gauges.
• Developed technical and mechanical ability.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, grinders, welders and similar equipment.
• Organized and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Maintains molds by disassembling, cleaning and inspecting each mold at end of production run or mold changes.
• Performs basic repairs to molds by machining such as milling, welder, grinder and impact tools.
• Records work done on the molds at the end of each cleaning.
• Maintains work area by cleaning, straightening and sweeping as necessary.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe and clean work area.
