Job summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and coordinate assigned mold builds, conditioning and qualification.
• Participate in product and tool design reviews.
• Collaborate with Mold Design Engineers during mold builds and qualifications.
• Analyze mold issues and determine what adjustments need to be made to meet production requirements. From highly technical to simple complexity.
• Insure timely completion of tooling to program schedules. Work closely with Tool room/Fabrication Supervisor and Mold Engineering Group to achieve this goal.
• Make replacement die and mold tooling.

Qualifications (Education and/or Experience):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school and CAD design experience
• Journeyman Toolmaker Certification and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mold building
• Ability to read product drawings and tool drawings
