Job summary

Top Prospect Group is seeking a Mold maker to lead mold making, repair and maintenance, tooling and fixtures, and develop readiness for production status. Reports to the Toolroom Supervisor and participates in implementing efficient tooling and processes.

The role emphasizes mentoring apprentices and senior mold makers, driving continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality dimensional accuracy under tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience mold and/or tool making.
• Working to tight tolerances.
• Experience with PFMEA a plus.
• Experience with molding machines a plus.
• Some knowledge of tooling design a plus.

Job description

Mold maker Position

As a Mold maker, who will report directly to the Toolroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing several facets of mold making, mold repair and maintenance, tooling and fixtures including developing to ready for production status.

Pay

$40-$45 DOE

Achieve the system development performance goals on the Report Card (Efficiency, Cost savings and continuous improvement), assigned objectives related to company strategy, as well as working with the NPD and Project Management teams to successfully execute and launch new programs/strategies/systems for each.
