Den Hartog Industries in Hospers, IA, is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to join our manufacturing team. You will read work orders, interpret blueprints, set up molds, perform MIG and TIG welding, and help inspect molds for quality while maintaining a safe, organized work area.
The role requires high school diploma, 1–3 years welding/fabrication experience, and the ability to pass a welding exam. Certified forklift and saw operator qualifications are pluses; manufacturing background is

Must pass pre-determined welding exam. Ability to recognize proper welds as applied to different shapes and thickness of metal.
One to three years of welding/fabrication experience preferred.
Manufacturing experience, preferred.
Certified forklift driver.
Certified Level II saw operator.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, twist and move about the facility. Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds, and have ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to distinguish colors. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to operate a computer, use the telephone, sit, kneel, squat and lay. Frequent exposure to elements such as odors, oil, fumes and noise.
Employee must wear required personal protective equipment, including hardhat, safety glasses with side shields, goggles/face shields, hearing protection in designated areas, Kevlar gloves, and/or other equipment as task dictate.
