Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Berwick, PA. You will operate blow-mold, PET, and injection molding equipment, performing quality checks and adhering to GMPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities include line setup, minor maintenance, keeping accurate production reports, and ensuring proper labeling and packaging. Overtime may be required to meet production needs, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Blow mold experience.
• Completion of Altium Production/Machine Operator training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines to ensure production of quality bottles.
• Perform bottle inspections and quality checks during production, packaging and labeling.
• Adhere to GMPs and safety policies, wear PPE, and follow plant procedures.
• Assist with minor maintenance, troubleshooting, and changes to mold components as directed by supervision.
• Prepare daily production reports including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and packaging details.
• Escalate to supervisor any bottle abnormalities, defects, or quality issues immediately.
