Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse - Mohs for our Middletown and Toms River offices. You will provide a high level of general care and education to patients under our Allergy and Mohs service lines, with a schedule that includes weekdays and rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities include assisting with Mohs and related procedures, maintaining aseptic rooms, documenting care, and educating patients about pre- and post-treatment care.

Qualifications

• Pass the NCLEX-PN or state approved equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Active LPN license in the state.
• Experience in outpatient surgery preferred.
• Experience using EMR and scheduling systems.
• Allergy testing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support for Allergy services, including allergy testing and immunotherapy.
• Assist Mohs surgery, medical, cosmetic, allergy, and laser procedures.
• Prepare rooms and ensure asepsis for procedures.
• Record medications, labs, orders, and patient data accurately.
• Educate patients pre- and post-operatively and coordinate care plans with the team.
• Monitor vital signs and verify correct patient and procedure.
• Maintain HIPAA & OSHA compliance.
