Schweiger Dermatology is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse - Mohs for our Middletown and Toms River offices. You will prepare rooms, manage supplies, and assist in dermatology procedures. Prior healthcare and dermatology experience are required, with EMR proficiency and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Practical Nursing Certificate.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Surgical experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer service skills.
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends.
• HIPAA & OSHA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.
• Assist physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Document treatments, medications, biopsies and procedures in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow and anticipate next steps with providers.
• Prepare rooms and ensure equipment is ready at start of shift.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Inventory management and stocking of supplies.
• Attend in-house training and continuing education.
