Job summary

Frontier Dermatology invites skilled professionals to join our Mohs Surgery lab as a Histotech in Edmonds or Seattle Northgate. Typical schedule is Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with pay ranging from $26.00 to $33.00 per hour based on experience and market factors.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent.
• Familiar with preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination and related duties.
• COVID vaccine or acceptable exemption required.
• Frozen sectioning or Mohs CMA experience preferred; histotech training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare skin tissue specimens for microscopic examination and embed samples.
• Process reagents, solutions, control slides and perform special stains as needed.
• Support Mohs lab workflow in a fast paced environment.
