Chesterfield-Woods is seeking a Mohs Histology Technician to support diagnostic tissue evaluation using histological procedures in the Mohs laboratory. The role involves embedding, microtomy, staining, immunohistochemistry (if applicable), mounting, and instrument maintenance in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications include at least one year of laboratory experience, a relevant degree (Associate's required; Bachelor's preferred), and HT/HTL ASCP certification preferred.

Qualificações

• HT/HTL ASCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and mounting for Mohs procedures.
• Operate cryostat and microtome with proper orientation
• Maintain quality control and safety procedures in the Mohs lab
• Label, file, and store slides and specimen blocks accurately
• Assist in equipment maintenance and record-keeping
