Qualifications

• Must meet NYS licensure requirements.
• Histology experience is required; Mohs experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NYDOH and CLIA regulations preferred.
• Ability to organize and direct daily lab operations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Mohs lab operations in coordination with providers.
• Handle specimen acceptance, labeling, cutting, staining and documentation for microscopic review.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality control.
• Serve as primary lab contact for Mohs procedures and related testing.
• Support gross dissection, microtomy, staining, cover slipping and case logging.
• Maintain inventory, training records and department policies.
