Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Production Repair Technician in White, GA. This temp-to-hire role focuses on module repair, operator coordination, and maintaining high production quality.

You’ll regulate operator assignments, monitor defects, and support supervisors to meet production goals. The position emphasizes safety, adherence to SOPs, and efficient repair processes, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of common defects caused during module repair operations.
• Proficiency in operating Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Operator Interface (OI).
• Ability to differentiate between Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Electroluminescence (EL) defects.
• Solid understanding of production orders and workflow processes.
• Strong assessment skills to evaluate operator performance and operational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including providing constructive feedback and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as required by production demands.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions.
• Ability to stand and remain on feet for up to 12 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and check hourly module repair counts, providing feedback to operators who do not meet established production targets.
• Understand line priority concepts and allocate operators according to line defect rates and operational needs.
• Verify BOM and PO on module barcodes to prevent mixing of modules.
• Label repair cells accurately and ensure materials are organized and not scattered around the module repair station.
• Complete and maintain solder temperature check sheets daily.
• Identify repeated defects and escalate issues to the line supervisor promptly.
• Supply and maintain repair materials and tools for module repair operators.
• Keep machines and components clean using hoses, airguns, IPA, cloths, vacuums, and other cleaning appliances.
• Inform production engineers or supervisors regarding operator assignments, especially when assisting with EL and automated system work.
• Help ensure the production line meets required productivity levels to fulfill production demands.
• Report equipment or process issues requiring technical intervention to line supervisors.
• Produce products that meet or exceed quality standards with minimal defects.
• Monitor standard equipment settings and escalate deviations or abnormalities for timely adjustments.
• Assist equipment technicians with repairs as needed.
• Coordinate and assign operators during break times, demonstrating flexibility in covering other work areas as required.
• Adhere strictly to standardized work procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned by management.
