Job summary

Apple is seeking a Module Process Engineer to join the Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering team in Cupertino, CA. You will help develop new manufacturing process technologies for Apple Displays and Touch technology, serving as a focal point in process development from concept to validation builds.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science with 3+ years in module processes or related back-end manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science or related field with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience leading a project from early development to high-volume production.
• Experience in development of module processes and its integration in back-end processes of Flat Panel Display/Touch industry or related industries.
• Experience in DOE, data analysis, or SPC control.
• Experience in failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality.

Education

B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science

MS or Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering
