Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer for the Display Technologies group to design and develop innovative display modules for future products.

You will own the integration of mechanical components into high-performance, reliable displays and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and suppliers. The role covers system architecture, interface definitions, tolerances, validation planning, and contribution to mass‑production ramp‑up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design, validation, and leadership.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software: Pro/E, NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with diverse manufacturing techniques and materials.
• Strong failure analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the module mechanical architecture based on cross-functional requirements.
• Interface to product incl. fit, assembly features, and tolerances.
• Deliver specifications including 3D/2D drawings.
• Lead validation plans for ME characteristics and issue root causes.
• Travel ~15% internationally, primarily Asia.
