Job summary

Intel Corporation in Arizona is seeking a motivated Module Equipment Technician to join our world-class semiconductor manufacturing team. This on-site role supports sustaining engineering, equipment maintenance, and process improvements to keep production running smoothly on a compressed evening shift.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing peers to troubleshoot, install, and qualify new equipment, document procedures, and drive uptime and quality on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or STEM field related to semiconductors.
• 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience for STEM/semiconductor roles.
• Diplomas or certifications demonstrating hands-on technical ability.
• Experience with factory maintenance, repair, and documentation.
• Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and in shift-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustaining support for module equipment, including installation and qualification.
• Perform maintenance, repair and troubleshooting per schematics and manuals.
• Design tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with engineering on repair development for manufacturability.
• Document procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Interface with engineering and report updates to management.
• Support troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experiments.
• Assist with new equipment installations and process improvements.
• Coordinate with floor teams to meet factory commitments.
• Operate equipment and evaluate issues, including off-shift hours.
