Job summary

onsemi is offering a summer internship in Module Engineering within the 300mm Post Fab team at East Fishkill, NY. You will gain hands-on experience by collecting data, improving equipment and process performance, and working on projects that enhance yield and device performance.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates entering their junior or senior year in relevant engineering fields, with an interest in semiconductor manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing junior or senior year of a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Fields include Chemical Eng, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Materials Science, Physics or related discipline.
• Interest in semiconductor internships and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Join the 300mm Post Fab team in East Fishkill, NY as a summer intern in a Module Engineering Team.
• Learn to collect data and improve equipment and process performance in EFK onsemi manufacturing.
• Develop new processes or controls for manufacturing workflows.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield and device performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field
