Job summary

AMTEX-NMS INC is seeking a skilled Plumber to install, assemble, and test plumbing systems in modular units. This role focuses on rough-in and finish work, ensuring compliance with codes, specifications, and quality standards.

A valid plumbing license is required along with 5–6 years of relevant experience. You will measure, cut, and install pipes (PVC/CPVC/PEX), install fixtures, perform pressure tests, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other trades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid plumbing license or certification.
• Minimum of Five to Six years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing systems in modular units including water supply, drainage, venting, and fixtures.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipes using materials such as PVC, CPVC, PEX, etc.
• Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and specialty commercial components.
• Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity and code compliance.
• Identify and resolve installation issues to maintain production line flow and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure proper system integration.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain tools and equipment and a clean, organized work area.
