Job summary

Kelso Industries in Duncan, SC (open to hybrid remote) seeks a Mechanical Estimator for multi-trade modular projects, supporting pharmaceutical, chemical, data center, and manufacturing clients. You will prepare detailed estimates for pipe, structural steel, and modular assemblies, using Navisworks and orthographic/isometric drawings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in pipe fabrication, mechanical contracting, or industrial construction.
• Experience with modular or prefabricated systems is preferred.
• Experience estimating for pharma, chemical, data centers or manufacturing facilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication across engineering, operations, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for multi-trade modular assemblies and structural steel components.
• Perform quantity take-offs from Navisworks, orthographic and isometric drawings.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing in line with modular execution.
• Coordinate with engineering to resolve discrepancies and support proposal submissions.
