Job summary

FabLogix (Kelso Industries) is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate, timely cost estimates for industrial pipe fabrication projects, including multi-trade modular assemblies and structural steel, serving pharma, chemical, data center, and manufacturing sectors.

You will perform model-based take-offs (Navisworks), assess fabrication-driven costs, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to develop executable scopes and pricing.

Qualifications

• Model-based quantity take-offs using Navisworks.
• Orthographic and isometric piping take-offs.
• Understanding of fabrication-driven estimating and modular delivery.
• Experience with structural steel interfaces and welding considerations.
• Proficiency in estimating software, Excel, and digital take-off tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for multi-trade modular assemblies and associated structures.
• Perform quantity take-offs from Navisworks and drawings.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate with engineering to resolve model discrepancies.
• Solicit vendor quotes and assess availability for pricing.
• Support proposals, internal reviews, and handoffs to operations.
• Assist with post-award turnover and procurement.
