Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) seeks an Architect for Modular Infrastructure & Industrialized Construction to drive scalable, factory-built solutions for GW-scale data centers. You will lead cross-functional efforts across design, product, manufacturing, and operations to industrialize OCI infrastructure and accelerate deployment while cutting costs and boosting quality.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, product, or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience designing or deploying modular, prefabricated, or factory-built infrastructure systems.
• Strong understanding of mission-critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of modular infrastructure solutions to reduce construction schedules and deployment costs.
• Shift work from field to controlled manufacturing environments to improve quality and speed.
• Develop engineering concepts that maintain performance while improving constructability.
• Define requirements for Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, and Design for Off-Site Manufacturing.
• Partner with manufacturers to optimize factory integration, logistics, and field installation.
• Create business cases showing value of modularization through productivity and lifecycle cost savings.
• Provide engineering guidance during design reviews, prototyping, and deployment planning.
