Job summary

Amherst Operating Services in Cuero, TX, is hiring a residential painter for our new StudioBuilt modular housing factory. The role focuses on painting components on site, with emphasis on safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You should have at least 4 years of construction or manufacturing painting experience, the ability to lift 75 lbs, and the stamina to stand 8+ hours. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

4-year relevant work experience.
High School Diploma.
Able to follow instructions, written and verbal.
Follow all safety practices.
Able to work in a manufacturing environment including the physical demands of the job.
Able to lift 75lbs.
Able to stand for 8+ hours to accomplish work tasks.
Able to use the tools and processes for the role.
Requires good manual dexterity (hand, arm, and multi-limb coordination).
Able to work overtime as scheduled.

Responsibilities

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with Plant and Safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
Prep and fill and sand area for painting.
Paint areas using Spray guns, Rollers, and Brush for best finish.
Ability to paint level 4 smooth finish and all trim.
Clean and maintain all equipment.
Work in a safe manner.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
