Job summary

Zen Sherpa LLC is seeking an Electrical Designer/Engineer to design building electrical systems for commercial projects. The role requires on-site work in Henderson, Nevada, with relocation support within the 48 contiguous states. Candidates should have a U.S.

work authorization and hands-on experience with NEC-compliant designs using Revit or AutoCAD. Responsibilities include creating power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems, producing construction drawings, coordinating

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
U.S. citizenship or valid U.S. work authorization.
Ability to work on-site full-time in Henderson, NV (relocation available).
2–6 years of building electrical or MEP design experience.
Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD for electrical drafting.
Strong understanding of NEC and electrical code compliance.
EIT preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low‑voltage.
Produce construction drawings, one‑line diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts.
Apply NEC and relevant electrical codes to all designs.
Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external consultants.
Support design reviews, revisions, and standardization of repeatable design packages.
