HP is seeking an Industrial Controls Engineer to design, develop, commission, and support modular control architectures for high-speed production equipment. The role emphasizes configuration‑driven solutions, reusable software, and scalable systems to improve uptime, quality, and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical/controls/software engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial automation, machine controls, or PLC software development.
• Experience with B&R Automation Studio for control development preferred.
• Experience with HP PageWide or similar platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PLC-based control systems for industrial machinery.
• Create modular, reusable, and configurable control architectures for scalability across platforms.
• Develop sequencing logic, state machines, and process control aligned with equipment performance.
• Develop and maintain HMIs for machine control and monitoring, with alarm visualization and diagnostics.
• Configure and commission motion systems, drives, and industrial I/O; integrate protocols.
• Support safety commissioning, validation, and documentation activities.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure readiness and performance.
