BLOX is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site construction operations in Birmingham, AL, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards and contract requirements. This role coordinates field activities, manages subcontractors and crews, and maintains high standards of safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in superintendent roles, strong leadership, blueprint reading, and CM software

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent or similar role.
• Proficient in blueprint reading, codes, and schedules.
• Experience with CM software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and self-perform crews.
• Ensure compliance with plans, codes, safety rules, and budgets.
• Maintain daily site reports, logs, and documentation.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to align field work with budgets.
