Job summary

US-Offsite is hiring a Commercial Site Superintendent for its construction division, USO Building Co., to lead the safe, timely, and high-quality execution of field operations from mobilization through final closeout. This role serves as the primary on-site leader and directs subcontractors, maintains the project schedule, coordinates modular deliveries and site logistics, and ensures quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Site Superintendent, General Superintendent, or comparable roles.
• 3+ years of direct hands-on field construction experience.
• Experience overseeing commercial, multifamily, modular, design-build, or general contracting projects preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects from mobilization through punch-list and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, jobsite safety practices, site security, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change documentation.
• Experience developing look-ahead schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and managing schedule recovery efforts.
• Familiarity with modular delivery, crane, setting, staging, or installation operations is a plus.
• Proficiency with scheduling, field reporting, cost tracking, and construction management tools.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, time-and-material work, backcharges, and change-order management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain organized, decisive, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced field environment.
• Ability to respond to project-related calls, text messages, and emails within four hours during active operations.
• Comfortable using CRM access, daily reporting platforms, and other field technology on a company-provided phone or laptop.
• Must be able to walk active construction sites, climb stairs and ladders, work around heavy equipment, and perform the physical duties required of an on-site field leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and own jobsite execution from mobilization through closeout.
• Execute the project schedule and develop weekly look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities, field labor, material deliveries, equipment, and site resources.
• Identify schedule risks and implement recovery plans with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate modular deliveries, crane operations, and installation sequencing.
• Lead project safety program per USO policies and OSHA requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and jobsite inspections.
• Maintain jobsite security and organize field records and documentation.
• Review and approve time-and-material tickets and supporting cost documentation.
• Document field conditions that may result in RFIs, change orders, or schedule impacts.
• Develop site logistics plans and maintain clean, organized yards and work areas.
• Participate in weekly project meetings and provide updates on schedule, safety, and quality.
