Job summary

USO Building Co./US-Offsite is seeking a Commercial Site Superintendent in Redding, CA. The role leads field operations, manages the project schedule, and coordinates modular deliveries with site teams to ensure safe, on-time completion.

Ideal candidates bring extensive field leadership, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to maintain quality and cost controls on complex modular construction projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction industry experience.
• 5+ years in Site Superintendent, General Superintendent, or comparable site-supervision roles.
• 3+ years of direct hands-on field construction experience.
• Experience overseeing commercial, multifamily, modular, design-build, or general contracting projects preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects from mobilization through punch-list and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, jobsite safety practices, site security, and emergency response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and oversee jobsite execution from mobilization through closeout.
• Develop and communicate weekly look-ahead plans including manpower, deliveries, and inspections.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities, field labor, material deliveries, and equipment.
• Identify schedule risks and implement recovery plans with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate modular deliveries, crane operations, and installation sequencing.
• Lead the site safety program and conduct toolbox talks and safety inspections.
• Review and verify time-and-material tickets and field documentation.
• Maintain organized field records, RFIs, submittals, drawings, and changes.
