Job summary

Sunbelt Modular, Inc. is seeking a versatile Floater to join our modular construction team in Indiana.

The role supports multiple trades, assists with construction, finishing, loading, and installation of modular components, and helps keep the job site safe and organized. You'll work with carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, follow project plans, and help prepare modules for transport and on-site installation.

Qualifications

Construction or general labor experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools or willingness to learn.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Strong work ethic, dependability and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Assist with the construction and assembly of modular buildings and components.
Load, unload, move, and organize building materials, tools and equipment.
Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades.
Perform measuring, cutting, fastening, drilling, and other basic construction tasks.
Assist with interior and exterior finishing work, including drywall, trim, flooring, siding, and general cleanup.
Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Follow plans, instructions, and direction from supervisors and foremen.
Assist with preparing modules for transportation and installation.
Help with setup, installation, and final site work.
Other duties as assigned
