Job summary

OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, seeks an experienced Assistant Superintendent – Modular to support field operations and prefabrication coordination. The role promotes safety, quality, and clear communication across field teams and trade partners while documenting progress and maintaining schedules.

You will lead field teams, manage project schedules, and collaborate with prefabrication partners, with travel required to site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the management and development of a team of field operations individuals, fostering skill growth and ensuring quality performance under guidance.
• Supervises daily site activities and applies sound judgment in implementing quality control measures, resolving routine issues and supporting solutions to unique field challenges to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
• Manages coordination of delivery and allocation of materials and equipment to support uninterrupted workflow.
• Monitors accurate daily logs and progress reports to document project activities and issues.
• Communicates routine updates and concerns to project leadership, enabling timely resolution of challenges.
• Participates in or leads safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce a culture of accountability.
• Supports field teams, including self‑perform, in addressing routine operational issues and escalates more complex matters as needed.
• Creates and manages project schedules.
• Coordinates with and monitors prefabrication facility quality, inventory, and progress. Provides support to prefabrication partners as needed.
• Travel is expected; flexibility is required.
