Job summary

OES Equipment is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent – Modular to support daily field operations, coordinate prefabrication integration with field plans, and ensure safety and quality on site. You will foster collaboration among field teams and trade partners, including self-perform crews, while driving accurate project documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in field engineering or construction management.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports management and development of a field operations team.
  • Supervises daily site activities and enforces quality control and safety protocols.
  • Coordinates delivery and allocation of materials and equipment.
  • Maintains accurate daily logs and progress reports.
  • Communicates updates to project leadership for timely resolution.
  • Leads safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce accountability.
  • Supports prefabrication integration with field plans; coordinates with partners.
  • Creates and manages project schedules; travels as required.

Job Description

OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast‑paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industry. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent – Modular who will support daily field operations and help achieve departmental goals. The role facilitates communication among field teams and trade partners, including self‑perform team members, promotes a collaborative and solution‑oriented work environment, reinforces adherence to safety and quality standards, and contributes to accurate project documentation and reporting. The candidate will also support identification and coordination of prefabrication opportunities by integrating prefabricated components into field execution plans. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supports the management and development of a team of field operations individuals, fostering skill growth and ensuring quality performance under guidance.
  • Supervises daily site activities and applies sound judgment in implementing quality control measures, resolving routine issues and supporting solutions to unique field challenges to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
  • Manages coordination of delivery and allocation of materials and equipment to support uninterrupted workflow.
  • Monitors accurate daily logs and progress reports to document project activities and issues.
  • Communicates routine updates and concerns to project leadership, enabling timely resolution of challenges.
  • Participates in or leads safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce a culture of accountability.
  • Supports field teams, including self‑perform, in addressing routine operational issues and escalates more complex matters as needed.
  • Creates and manages project schedules.
  • Coordinates with and monitors prefabrication facility quality, inventory, and progress. Provides support to prefabrication partners as needed.
  • Travel is expected; flexibility is required.

Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field required.
  • OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
