Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Service Technician to inspect modular buildings, perform repairs and readiness work ranging from framing and carpentry to light electrical, plumbing, and painting. A safety-focused mindset and clean driving record are essential for this role, which may involve field assignments and yard tasks.

You will handle check-in/out inspections, coordinate with customers, and ensure trailers and equipment are prepared for deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Current valid driver’s license with clean record needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect modular buildings and perform repairs or readiness work (framing, finish carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear).
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Operate company vehicle safely and maintain valid license.
• Perform checks and inspections for in-rent/off-rent buildings; create floor plan drawings as needed.
• Complete service paperwork and coordinate deliveries and service calls.
• May work at field locations as needed and assist with HVAC checks per guidelines.
