Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Service Technician to inspect modular buildings and perform repairs across our fleet, including framing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting and routing maintenance.

The role requires the ability to work independently, a valid driver’s license, carpentry experience, and strong safety awareness; we offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment is a must.
• Some knowledge of computers is necessary and good communications skills are required for dealing with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel as well as Williams Scotsman employees at various branch locations.
• Must have carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
• A current valid driver’s license and a clean record are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and perform repairs including framing, carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, and painting on modular buildings.
• Check-in/out inspections and create floor plan drawings; assess repair scope and damages for invoicing.
• Perform modifications requested by customers and maintain inventory of tools/parts.
• Provide courteous customer service over the phone and in person; explain repairs and services.
• Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled deliveries and complete paperwork for deliveries and service calls.
• Perform HVAC system checks and maintenance per company guidelines.
• Operate a company vehicle safely with a valid license.
