This role requires technical expertise, leadership, project management experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge automation solutions.The ADM Modernization Program [Program Aurora] is an ADM Operations Initiative to modernize our strategic facilities through Automation and Optimization. Utilizing technology and ADM expertise, we will reduce unplanned downtime, support safety initiatives, increase OEE, and standardize our processes across our business units. The Program is an enabler for ADM's Digital Transformation.**Key Responsibilities*** Software Design and Development: Lead the governance and oversight of 3rd party Automation Vendor software design; provide technical requirements for software architecture, programming, and integration* Project Leadership: Oversee software engineering tasks, including system configuration, programming, and integration for modernization projects* Modernization of Legacy Systems: Plan and execute upgrades for legacy control system software (e.g., Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell PlantPAx) to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability* Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, control system engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components* Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed software specifications, functional descriptions, narratives, and programming documentation. Provide input for cross-functional reviews* Testing and Commissioning: Lead software testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities to ensure systems meet operational requirements.
