NCFE is seeking Moderators to join its External Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract. The role focuses on Level 1/2 Technical Award in Business and Enterprise, with remote work and attendance at training sessions during the moderation window.
You will review centre-marked work, apply quality assurance principles, and produce moderation reports. The role requires experience in business education and an ability to work independently to deadlines.

We're looking for Moderators to join our External Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract for the following qualification:
As a Moderator, you'll play a key role in ensuring that centres assess learners fairly, accurately and consistently. You'll review centre-marked work, apply quality assurance principles, and provide clear, constructive feedback to ensure national standards are maintained.
We’re keen to hear from individuals with a strong background in business and enterprise, with experience of teaching and/or assessing learners in these subject areas. You may currently work, or have previously worked, as a Business Studies Teacher, Business Lecturer, Business and Enterprise Lecturer or Business Assessor.
Whilst this is a flexible worker role, we require a reasonable level of commitment throughout the moderation window. Moderation activities begin in March 2027 where you will be expected to attend one of our Annual Training sessions. The primary moderation period will be between April and August 2027, during which your engagement will be most critical.
