Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced FEA engineer to develop and validate FEM models for camera modules, performing simulations to predict behavior and support DOEs. You will correlate FEA results with build data and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across design, manufacturing and validation.

• Strong academic tracking record.
• Strong collaboration skill to work with diversified x-function team.
• Demonstrated coursework or hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis theory and methods.
• Experience with commercial FEA software such as Ansys, Abaqus, or other equivalent commercial FEA packages.
• Understanding of element types, meshing strategies, boundary conditions, and solution methods.
• Basic knowledge in materials science concepts including constitutive laws and material behavior (elastic, plastic, viscoelastic properties).
• Stress–strain relationships and material characterization.
• Hands-on experience with basic mechanical experiments such as bending, tensile test, vibration, etc.
• Understanding of experimental design, data collection, and data analysis.
• Experience with machine learning or generative AI is a plus.
• Strong data analysis and some coding experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science or related Engineering discipline

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
